Chaim's project was to repair broken book racks on the pews in the
main sanctuary in Oheb Shalom Congregation in West Orange, NJ, correct the
synagogue's yahrtzeit database and check and repair tallesim. Pictured above,
Chaim (on left) presents a tallis at the end of the repairs.
In the first part of Eitan's (on right) project, he and his helpers
relocated all the books in the West Orange Library's children's book section
while the library renovated the area. The second part involved collecting books
for the children's library at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ. In the
picture, books are presented to representatives of the hospital.
Pyramid Mountain in Morris County, NJ was the recipient of David (in
white shirt) and his crew's hard work, as a bridge over a swampy section of
hiking trail was built. This trail was unusable during the spring and fall, when
flowing water turned this area into a mini-swamp.
